The greatest mystery in life isn’t finding out if there’s a God or if girls actually make sense and boys just don’t understand, or even discovering why bad things happen to good people and vice versa. It’s much simpler than that. It’s discovering yourself, and damn is it hard.
Yay for extra Easter egg dye!! =D So excited for Rush next week!! I’m gonna wear this at the BBQ!
So I just watched We’re Back: A Dinosaur’s Story. When I was younger, this was the single most watched movie in my household, but I didn’t own it. Every time we’d go to Blockbuster (Yes, back when there were actually Blockbusters and people went to them) I’d always want to get this movie. To this day, I still have no idea why I liked it when I was younger. It’s not a particularly good movie, it doesn’t really have any memorable characters and doesn’t hold up against most movies in terms of quality. However, there was something about this movie that I absolutely adored when I was younger and viewing it again tonight for at least the 1000th time, I realized something. It’s about dreams. When I was a kid, that’s all I did. Dream. It didn’t matter what it was about, every night and most days, I would dream or day dream about impossible things, like being captain of a space ship or having dinosaurs as friends and going on adventures. The possibilities were limitless. In my dreams, people didn’t judge me, it was always about being there for excitement of the adventure, the thrill of the new experiences and a world without limits or rules.
So then I asked myself what my dreams are now that I’m older.
I don’t have an answer.
